It is only  logical to say that a web designer should get good training in the main  discipline of shaping written information, in other words: Typography.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span xml:lang=\"en\">Oliver Reichenstein<\/span> &#8211; <a xml:lang=\"en\" hreflang=\"en\" href=\"http:\/\/www.informationarchitects.jp\/en\/the-web-is-all-about-typography-period\">Web Design is 95% Typography<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Echando un poco la vista atr\u00e1s &#8211; basta un simple v\u00ednculo -, uno se encuentra con una frase como la anterior publicada en el 2006 (recordada, eso si, por <span xml:lang=\"en\">twitter<\/span> hoy mismo). Y yo soy uno de esos que no han intentado profundizar en algo tan importante, hasta hace no mucho tiempo. Y con la mala suerte de que el libro que me compr\u00e9, no me ha servido para mis prop\u00f3sitos: un libro para introducirse en el arte y la ciencia de la tipograf\u00eda (hablo de \u00ab\u00bfQu\u00e9 ocurre mientras lees? Tipograf\u00eda y legibilidad.\u00bb de <span xml:lang=\"nl\">Gerard Unger<\/span>). Tal vez con el pr\u00f3ximo libro tenga m\u00e1s suerte (\u00bfsugerencias?).<\/p>\n<p>Pero bueno, hay algunos recursos que me parecen \u00fatiles y aqu\u00ed los dejo, para que no se me olviden.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a hreflang=\"en\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkingwithtype.com\/\">Thinking with Type<\/a>, con cuatro apartados (letras, texto, rejilla y extras). Informaci\u00f3n relativamente breve y con posibilidad de descargar bastantes secciones en ficheros pdf para observar los detalles con mejor resoluci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li><a xml:lang=\"en\" hreflang=\"en\" href=\"http:\/\/webtypography.net\/\">The Elements of Typographic Style Applied to the Web <\/a>. El t\u00edtulo lo dice todo, tipograf\u00eda pr\u00e1ctica para la web.<\/li>\n<li><a xml:lang=\"en\" hreflang=\"en\" href=\"http:\/\/www.typetester.org\/\">typetester<\/a>, una herramienta para comprobar a la vez tres fuentes diferentes, permiti\u00e9ndose variar algunas caracter\u00edsticas como el color, alineaci\u00f3n, separaci\u00f3n entre letras,&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.behance.net\/Gallery\/Periodic-Table-of-Typefaces\/193759\"  xml:lang=\"en\" hreflang=\"en\">Periodic Table of Typefaces<\/a>, es una forma bastante curiosa y desde mi punto de vista lograda, de mostrar las fuentes tipogr\u00e1ficas m\u00e1s populares con informaci\u00f3n extra, como el a\u00f1o de creaci\u00f3n, el autor y familia. En forma de tabla peri\u00f3dica.<\/li>\n<li><a xml:lang=\"en\" hreflang=\"en\" href=\"http:\/\/www.typographydeconstructed.com\/\">Typography Deconstruction<\/a> Un fichaje de \u00faltima hora a la lista de recursos, recomendado por un compa\u00f1ero de trabajo y que se encarga de analizar los elementos b\u00e1sicos en el dise\u00f1o de fuentes de forma clara y muy visual. Me gusta mucho.<\/li>\n<li><ins datetime=\"2014-02-06T12:13:30+01:00\"><strong><a href=\"2011\/un-poco-de-tipografia\/\" hreflang=\"en\" xml:lang=\"en\">The Elements of Typographic Style Applied to the Web<\/a><\/strong>: <span xml:lang=\"en\">The Elements of Typographic Style<\/span> de <span xml:lang=\"en\">Robert Bringhurst<\/span>, aplicado a la web.
