Y como ahora lo de escribir en un blog se ha vuelto <em lang=\"en\">vintage<\/em>, est\u00e1 publicando una lista de correo (<a href=\"https:\/\/monteiro.substack.com\/\"><span lang=\"en\">Mike<\/span>\u00b4s <span lang=\"br\">Monteiro<\/span> <span lang=\"en\">Good News<\/span><\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estoy suscrito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La \u00faltima entrega empieza hablando de las vacunas, los anti-vacunas (gente que puede ser responsable de la vida de sus hijos y tambi\u00e9n puede votar), los datos, las sensaciones y el dise\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como buen dise\u00f1ador, es partidario de utilizar los datos disponibles: es una forma objetiva de tomar decisiones argumentadas (y tengo que aprender m\u00e1s al respecto, confieso).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y no deja de ser parad\u00f3jico que en la \u00e9poca en la que m\u00e1s datos hay disponibles, en no pocas ocasiones al final se toman las decisiones por <em>emociones<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote lang=\"en\"><p>Silicon Valley claims to be obsessed with data.<br \/>[\u2026]<br \/>How to get it. What to do with it. Who\u2019s selling it to whom. Who needs it. How to protect yours. We\u2019ve collected more data in the last ten years than we can process in the next hundred. No one can exactly remember why we\u2019re collecting it, but everyone\u2019s afraid to stop. Yet, with all this data at our disposal, we\u2019ve created a garbage fire run by platforms of vitriol. Here\u2019s some more data: we\u2019re idiots.<br \/>Like any good designer, I work with data. If you\u2019re designing something for people to use and no one can use it, that\u2019s data. You\u2019d be a fool to ignore the data.<br \/>[\u2026]<br \/>While you\u2019re designing, you\u2019re like a scientist. You study every data point. It\u2019s the smart thing to do. Then you gotta persuade people the work is right. Hold onto your butts\u2026\n<br \/>The minute you put a design solution in front of data-driven Silicon Valley types, they start talking about feelings. \n<br \/>\u201cThis <em>feeeeeels<\/em> wrong.\u201d \n<br \/>\u201cI\u2019m not <em>feeeeeeling<\/em> it.\u201d \n<br \/>\u201cOh, I like the <em>feel<\/em> of this!\u201d \n<br \/>It\u2019s a little crazy-making, but it\u2019s also understandable.
